About Lyric Walk
In Spring 2023 students participated in Otterbein University's first offering of Advanced Lyric, an advanced creative writing seminar focused on writing in the lyric mode. The literary lyric is an inherently performative mode, one that resists genre classification and relishes in experimentation.
The Lyric Walk is our final production: a tour of broadside installations throughout Otterbein's campus, with creators reading brief excerpts from their projects. While the reading is a one-time event, and the broadsides will eventually disappear, you can read all of the projects in full by clicking on their broadside images below.
